Jenox Akumulatory is one of the leading domestic manufacturers of lead-acid batteries, a company based entirely on Polish capital and developing Polish technical thought. Jenox Akumulatory has more than 30 years of experience in the production of lead-acid batteries. Its beginnings date back to 1989. For three decades, the product range of the plant in Chodzież has been evolving, offering batteries that are the answer to the needs of modern motoring. The facility itself has undergone numerous modernisations, extending the water bath formation department for charging batteries in a water bath, or building new chambers for seasoning battery plates, to the automatization of part of the production processes. This has resulted in one of the most modern lead-acid battery production lines in this part of Europe. The development of the Chodzież plant also involves investments in ecology. The plant systematically reduces noise levels, reduces the amount of wastewater generated, and recovers heat energy within the casting and grid pasting divisions. The latest investments have been directed towards renewable energy sources. In 2021, the company realised a 50kW photovoltaic installation project. The following year, the installation was expanded by a further 150kW.
